Before you pay — the honest answers
Do I need a card to start?
Free includes 52 AI credits per month. Each report shows its credit cost before generation. That is 7 reports at today's cheapest report price, plus the research surfaces — the whale feed, the leaderboard and whole-market token data — on real on-chain data, not a sandbox.
What is a credit, exactly?
Credits pay for AI work, and the price depends on how much work an answer needs: the cheapest costs 2, a deeper multi-source investigation costs more. Everything that is not AI — browsing, scores, charts, filings, alerts — costs nothing. Founding Pro includes 300 credits a month.
Am I charged when the AI refuses to answer?
Not for a generation that never ran. If the request is refused before any research starts — no credits, a paused budget, a priced-out model — nothing is reserved and nothing is charged. But when the AI has already researched and our own validator then refuses the answer, the research really happened and you are charged what it cost, never the full price of an answer.
Is any plan unlimited?
No, and you will not find the word on this page. Every plan has published caps; paid tiers raise them. We would rather name a limit than discover it with you.
Why are AI credits finite?
Because time spent talking to an assistant is not the outcome we sell. Credits keep the cost of AI work visible and deliberately bounded: the intent is that a few well-sourced answers send you back to the evidence — whale flow, Smart Money, filings, market data and the Network — so you finish better informed and more independent, rather than kept in a chat window. We make no promise of limitless credits or endless conversations, and we do not design for time spent with the assistant.
Can I cancel whenever I want?
Yes — from your account page, through the billing portal, without emailing anyone. Access continues to the end of the period you already paid for.
What happens when I hit a cap?
The surface tells you which limit you reached and why it exists, instead of silently returning less data. Nothing disappears without an explanation.
